Second: the worst thing about “resolutions” is that we never pay any attention to them, especially if we didn’t write them down and commit to them.
Saying you are going to do something, and TAKING ACTION AND DOING SOMETHING are two very different things. Your actions will make you successful. Otherwise, you will just forget about it in a few days and will continue to do what you were doing the last year!
Instead of creating another dead end resolution that you do not keep past the first week of the New Year, instead make a difference in your life.
We have a simple yet powerful three-step solution to making your goals and dreams a reality.
Successful Step 1: Write down a HUGE AMAZING GOAL for 2015! It has to be a BIG enough one to get you excited and pumped up to wake up each morning and be happy. A Goal that will give you the motivation to do it every day.
It is a known fact that you can accomplish a great deal of work in a few days. Many great accomplishments happened in a YEAR. Do not ever underestimate yourself because inside of you, you have what it takes to accomplish all of your goals and dreams this year. So make sure you write it down and tape it to your computer or wall where you will be able to see it every day.
It will HELP you, and it will remind you about your goals every time you see it. Trust me it works so make sure you do it.
Now for Success Step 2: You need to write down a Twelve-month roadmap which is the path of small action steps that will get you to your goal. Since you have decided and imagined accomplishing your HUGE goal for the next year. Now you need to create a simple but effective road map, write down what you need to do every month and every day starting January and then February and so on.
Example: For us we are setting up a goal of making one million dollars in profit for the year and helping as many people as we can.
So every month we are going to write down what we need to do to move up the ladder.
The first month can be setting up a business license and website. Next month is getting traffic, affiliates and so on.
If your goal is to lose 30 pounds, well you can write down for January what healthy foods you are going to eat daily. What foods to take out that are too fatty, cleaning out your fridge. How long, you are going to start walking and running. Running a mile every two or three days for the first month, and then the second month you can increase to 2 miles every few days and so.
You get the idea.
Make sure that each month has small actions steps not big ones. You need to complete a small portion, and once you have completed the first step, you will feel better about yourself and you will see that it is not that bad. Include it to your daily routine, so you accomplish all small action steps by the end of the month. You need to commit to it and take action.
By doing it in small chunks you won’t feel overwhelmed, and you will be able to accomplish your goals.
Now your third step is taking ACTION and celebrating after each successful small chunk accomplishment.
Every time you accomplish a portion of your goal celebrate. Give yourself a pat on the back. Scream something out loud that inspires you. Take your family out. Give yourself a treat like getting a massage. Anything that you want, but make sure you reward yourself. Rewarding yourself will help you feel good about accomplishing your goals, and it will give you positive motivation for the next month. Taking action will become a habit.
That is it my friend a simple yet powerful three-step solution to making your goals and dreams a reality!
